This weekend was San Diego's "Lindy Prom" Had some fabulous dances with the Donnelley brothers, like always.
Matt & Becca, two of my classmates from SACI in Florence, got married today in Lancaster, their hometown. The wedding was beautiful and it was a blast to see my other classmates as well: Rochelle, Lynne, Gina, Maureen & Jeramiah. We had hoped to glimpse some Amish people while we were in town, but only saw one Mennonite. BTW, who knew there was an H&M in Amish land? Bring 'em to the west coast!

Went "home" for the first time in a year to see JRJP in concert at the Vittum Theater. It was Laura's last show before moving to Calgary with her daughter Simone and Tony. As soon as I landed in the Windy City and got on the I-90 in my rental car, I felt like I was at home. I had such a great time this weekend. I had dinner with Luke and John at Corosh, stayed with Amanda in Rogers Park, had breakfast with Jim and Lisa at Le Peep, hung out with Jeannie and Alida at the Park, went to the Lincoln Park Zoo with Kelly, John and Gabriel, hung out with Laura, Simone and Tony, had dinner with Carly downtown, met Kellen Christopher for the first time, went dancing with Mark a couple of times, and gave a tour of Chicago to Aurora, Mark & Marco. Sitting in the audience of the JRJP shows with Tony and Simone was a highlight and sharing the music, the rhythm, the energy and the hard work of JRJP made me incredibly homesick.
