Love & Marriage in Vegas

Flew out from Orange County to Vegas at 2 pm. Turbulence so bad that the flight attendants ran through the aisle collecting the only-half-delivered beverages from everyone's tray tables. After landing, they announced, "Thank you for flying Southwest's version of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride."

Beth and Carter picked me up from the airport and we met up with Angela, Scott, Lisa and Cory at Stardust. We changed into our dresses and suits and headed over to the Persian restaurant Al Habib for Nicholle and Paul's wedding. The ceremony was two minutes at most but it seemed even quicker than that (thanks to Mr. Safavi). Afterward, we ate and drank and danced and ate and drank and danced some more. I felt as if I'd been in a cross between My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Monsoon Wedding. Delectable food, lots of smiling and laughing, a stunning bride and a grinning groom. It was unique and wonderful, just like Nicholle and Paul.
